Every fucking time where there is a rally or mass gathering around town, government NEVER FAIL to implement their ultimate weapon : setting up road blocks everywhere just to catch , screen or detain the suspected rally-goers.
And unfortunately, for now, we were sort of banned from wearing yellow, or you would automatically claimed to be one of the Bersih supporters.
I know right? . sometimes things just make me laugh so hard that I have to say no more.

Isn't Malaysia a country with freedom of speech?
But little did you know, a demand for justice elections is deemed illegal.

So, after four days of mountains, ocean, family bonding, food, food and food,
I'm back.!
I felt like I have grown up a little, not physically but mentally, of course, since I have spent most of my time chit-chatting away with uncles and aunties, pubbing with them, rather than cousins.
It makes me mature a little, somehow.
I can see more clearly of what I want to do , where I want to be now.
Having plans in mind too. Just that I am still unsure of when, where and how to begin yet.

On the other hand, I am most likely to be heading over to MIAMI this year end for three months, since everybody is busy interning. (yes, already got daddy's approval! )

Also, maybe a family trip to Russia!
And Bangkok trip.
So much to do yet so little time.?
Well, I guess I have some time arrangement to do :p

Ten days away from gooing back.
Let all the fun begins, shall we?

Transformers Dark of The Moon

It's almost four in the morning and I just got home with bag STILL UNPACK for tomorrow's roadtrip !
But it's alright, I would rather sacrifise a little of my sleeping time for all these late night movies, yc sesh, anything.
It's not like I get to do this all the time.
And yes, I admit I miss all that hell lot in Melbie.
So awesome la. Now I am contemplating whether or not to postpone my flight back to a week later.
So tempted to do so. Will decide later .

Anyway back to The Dark of The Moon.
It is damn awesome !
Wether you love it or hate it, just watch it!
Micheal Bay clearly knows how to make movies which make money, truckloads of money, movies which appeal to a mass audience who just want to watch stuff blow up.
It's loud , it's big, it's brash, and most importantly it's entertaining!
Though a little too draggy, but hey, I am pretty sure you would pay full attention throughout the movie ,
It's called Transformers for a reason right. Who knows you might lose a scene if you blink your eyes just on that split second. hah.

In praise of not knowing

Sometimes I feel lost .....
Today you can everything from wealth ,to health, to love.
But what we don't know is that tomorrow you might lose everything that you have had.
Today you might feel joyful and blessesed
But tomorrow sorrow might hit you.
Just in a split second? or maybe days? months?

Again, that we don't know.

Hence, this is what we should fear most - Not Knowing.

Not knowing whats the goal of life.
Not knowing our directions
Not knowing who we really are deep inside
Not knowing if our love ones would ever cheat on us
Not knowing when our life would be taken away
Not knowing the sincerity in people
Not knowing what we ought to know

Sometimes I just can't help it but to wonder
Is life ever worth living?
Do we actually know where our lives are leading us?
Ever?
Is it the accumulation of knowledge that brings us toward a particluar end ?
We like to know because knowledge seems to be the breaking point of everything, especially poverty.
Knowledge seems to give us control, control over ourselfves and the control over our future.

But again, is the accumulation of knowlege really the answer to our deepest quesrion?
As we get older, we have more to wonder.
I have come to wonder at the remarkable fact that I am sitting right here typing words into a screen, without knowing whether I will still be here the next moment.
Because life is just full of surprises.
We never seems to appreciate things untill an unexpected chapter abrupt the end of our stories.

But when that happens,
What bring us back? What keep us upright?
That is yet to be answer.
Because we don't know.

All these unknowing can be a gift, rather than a defect in life.

It fills life with unexpected possibility when we don't know much about anything at all.
Travelling without a map can be interesting.
It can offer us a space in mind for unexpected surprises and perhaps leading us to an entirely whole new direction.
It can awaken us to new ways of seeing things.
We just need to trust that not knowing what we should do or where we should be at times has its own intelligence.
Here is our starting point where we are not in our thoughts, hopes or fears, but in the momentum of not knowing where life itself is moving towards

I was already bursting in anticipation once mom left the car with the jockey service, as I could already smell the taste of the hot baked bread in the air before stepping into the nicely decorated bungalow-cafe.

Of course, it is no doubt that places like these will always be crowded.

We sat ourselves on the comfortable sofa somewhere at the end corner, to catch the glimpse of the unique ambiance both indoors and out through the glassy window on our right.

And mind you, they don't only serve good pastries and bread, but a range of unresistable creamy handmade gourmet chocolates , cakes and macarons!

Mum almost went berserk, loading the tray with almost everything and putting them back cause couldn't decide exactly what she wants! I got to angree everything looked absoultely amazing and delicios. Too bad i wasn't that hungry at that point of time .

Overall, I would say it's great.
Love the environment and love the bread. :)

It has been so long since I truly have time for things.

Ever since the exam period, i had no time to read books I WANT to read, basically i was spending time to read books that was FORCED to read you see.
No time to catch up on my shows
No time to read blogs that I love.
No time.
Well, ok not no time, Bui I would have to give up other things like Facebook.! or You know, SALES.
It's pretty scary those are the things that I am not giving up!
So for all intents and purposes, I have no time.

But what I'm trying to say is, I am enjoying myself so much lately.
I barely blog anymore, much less post. Well , i hate it, i have things to say, but when it comes to typing out, I am pretty much clueless.
All i know is that I finally have the time to you know, enjoy my holiday.
Go to the same old cinema for movies
Meet the same old buddies :)
Indulge the same old favorite food
And finally be at the most comfortable place ever-home!
Enjoying every single day with the family and dogs.
You know, it just feels good.
Though, nothing much very productive since I have been lazing around the house pretty much in the afternoon. Blame the weather! really. It's so hot!!!

But again, it makes me treasure the beauty sleep so much.

SO is all good i guess?
Well, everything is fine .
Except one thing, the infection I got affected on my left eyes.
But it's slowly recovering now! phew.
Speaking of that, I've neever in my life seen such cute antibiotic pill. It's PINKKKK !!

I am back. yes. for good... :)

okay, just kidding. for at least three weeks. good enough.

Well, i don't know We (me, and celine) got lucky or what.
The fact that most of the flights were cancelled that night due to the volcano eruption, but not ours!!!
Only MAS, AIRASIA, and EMIRATES flew that night.
I think us being malaysian too kiasu. LOL.

And sstupid MAS had some technical problem with the airplane.
Hence, no entertainment for that night! yes, no movies!!! grr
Thank god i have celine by my side, at least can chat a little to pass time.

IT feels so so good to be home.
Except the major weather change that's all.
Other than that, I LOVE love it.
PLus, my house just done with renovation and all that, well just the upstairs, for it's a good change :)

Love it.
How nice if i can stop the time right here, right now.
And get it ticking only when i am all ready to go back to the aussieland.

Started packing a little, already cleaned my bathroom, the floor, mopped the kitchen, vacummned, changed the bedsheet, washed my blanket, wiped my refrigerator and all that.

THE SAME OLD THING

one paper down, three more to go.

And everytime , without fail, during this torturing period, i would rant about the same thing over and over again.
Like procratination, sleep deprived, surviving on coffee, and library being my second home.
I know right, why didn't i study way earlier.
But then again, I'll tend to forget and nevertheless, i work best under pressure.
What's the point when education is all about testing the memory power?

I don't get why is examination , in anyway, is capable of accessing the achievement vision of education.
Isn't it about values and life skill and not you know, narrowly test book stuffs?
What if what you studies thoroughly has not come in the paper, thus fail?
The paper faield to question on the part you have studied, yees?
Isn't all these about luck???

How can a three hours paper justify a person knowledge in the future,
Come on, I bet we'll forget most of the stuff we learnt throught the course by the time we graduate.
And how can a three hours paper justify what we have learnt throught out the whole semester!
And yet we have to endure multiple trauma continously for the whole exam period, writing longer than ever, restless mind, trying hard to get the stretch of attention and all that.

Isn't exam a torture?

For that i can be much better, for that i never gave in my best, for that i wasn't consistent with my studies, for that i never once got blame for failing, for that task i am suppose to complete , but i failed.
Sadly.
Studying is never the hardest thing in life,
But earning money is.
Raising children is.

Seriously??? I mean you can get those gadgets anytime you want in the future, and even better version ones, but you can never get your kidney back.

A Chinese teenager has reportedly sold one of his kidneys for 20,000 yuan ($3170) so he could buy an iPad 2.

The high school student from Anhui Province, Xiao Zhang, confessed to his mother that he was motivated to sell the kidney after seeing an internet ad offering cash to people who were prepared to become organ donors, the Global Times reported.

His mother had discovered the iPad 2 and forced him to reveal how he was able to afford it

"I wanted to buy an iPad 2, but I didn't have the money," the boy told Shenzhen TV. He also bought an iPhone and a laptop with the proceeds from the sale, his mother said.

Chenzhou 198 Hospital in Hunan Province, where the boy reportedly had his surgery, does not have qualifications for kidney transplantation.

It has denied any connection with the organ removal but has admitted contracting out its urology department to a private businessman.

The buying and selling of organs is a growing issue in China and the government has so far failed to stamp out the practice.

There have been many reports of "transplant tourists" who come from rich countries to buy much-needed organs from poor, desperate people.

The blackmarket trade is driven by the fact that there are many times more people waiting for organs than there are legitimate donors.

Zheng's mother told Shenzhen TV that she took her son to report the matter to police but the agents who had organised the organ trade were uncontactable.

Police are reportedly trying to track down the buyers.

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.
2. I wish I didn't work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly,in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved.Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.
It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip.But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks,love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have sillyness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again,long before you are dying.

SYDNEY DAY THREE

It was another spectacularly beautiful hot sunny day of walking, and no, it doesn't get old :)

We woke up that morning , in the shades of toilet-racing, hoping to be the first to get into the shower before the whole floor gets wet. ( since there's 7 of us with one bathroom, yes, you can imagine) I must say it's pretty funny fighting over the toilet, wait , more like reserving it with "i'm next ". LoL.

Anyway, we managed to checked out by mid-morning.

Chat Thai was the first stop , where we started our day off indulding the famous thai food everyone has been talking about. It is best to book it a day in advance to avoid the otherwise tortorous wait . The constantly nustling crowd guarantees that it is not the kind of restaurant where you can sit back and get comfortable.

We were there pretty early before lunch time, hence got to skip all that crazily long queue.

Got oursleves sitted in this sleek open space area, somewhere near the stairs, with exposed brick walls and wooden beams, dark and sleek lines with a lofty mezzaine level overlooking the main floor and where the front kitchen is bustling open for us customers to see and smell.

The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful with out orders, and it seems that the food is worth the wait. Most of them were exquisitely flavoured and visually impressive. They serve the most mouthwatering desserts ever. WIth scoops of coconut ice cream to compliment the cold freezy morning, refreshing waterchestnut dessert was nicely sweet and their soft creamy touch of kaya served with fried-flour-roll were specially amazing.

Though honestly speaking, their main dishes wasn't evry much authentic, but the desserts are a must to try.

After such indulgement, we took a bus down to catch some sea breeze at Bondi.

But i am still a city girl in the heart.

Doubts

I am not bright, not any HD students, neither am i hardworking or someone who has high aim in life .
I always question myself "WHERE will i be in ten years time?"

Do i see myself being a professional accountant that work my asses off to get paid beutifullly ?
Nothing is impossible, i mean, if i want, i can do it definitely.
But the question is that is that what I really want to be ?
Yes I want to get that above average pay, but will i ever be happy?
No regrets?
Is that what I love doing?

I love my freedom. I love having days of doing absolutely nothing at all.
Life is too short, and yet nothing changes.

We were once told to "score well in UPSR, it is important to get you into A class in high school"

And then comes PMR where we were told to be the-most-important-paper of your life as it determines where you'll be, Science stream or Arts. And MOST narrow-minded-parents tend to look down on those who are arts students. so yes, you must score, and after that it is not that important anymore.

Later comes SPM, and we were told " MUST DO WELL, GET FIVE CREDITS TO GET IN A UNIVERSITY OR YOU GOT NO FUTURE "

Once you enter pre university, the tutor tells you " this is the HARDEST phase of your life, UNiversity life is way much easier "

Then when you enter Uni, you are thrown with piles and piles of yet to due assignments and you said FML. People tell you, wait till you work, it will be much easier, no more assignments.

And when you work, you curse your boss, you curse your life for the extra OT, for the no-school-holidays like back then.

AND THEN IT GOES ON AGAIN AND AGAIN.

You get paid amazingly, you met someone , you get marry, you have kids, and then you tell your children the same thing again.

This cycle goes on and on.
And that's how people judge you.
If you have a good education backgroud, you get paid beautifully, you have a good family, you have smart children, you have a nice big house, then you are GOOD.
Other than that, you are not as successful as others.

IS THAT LIFE?
ISNT IT BORING ?
TO HAVE SOMETHING REPEAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!

And yes, this brought me back to my first question, "where will I be in ten years time ? "

Blank.
The fact is still the fact, nothing changes.
It's just another those instances where my mind is too full.
With too many thoughts swimming around in my head and how i wish i can catch everyone of them to express it in words.
But they just can't be caught.

I couldn't imagine the sudden sorrow to his close friends and family members.
It is not the matter of how someone can die at such young age
Because i have seen worse. similar accident, where my second cousin felt down from the bus from the emergency exit at the age of seven.

What bothers me is that how death can be so sudden??
Why can't we be warned first
At least that way, we can be prepared, for our life to be taken away.

It was just like yesterday when we had our lunch few moths back
And now he is dead.

Sometimes, i just don't get all these languages man, especially 中文, with only one missing line or dots, and it can be a completely different word with different definition ! i know right, but i never once regretted it. Thank you daddy mummy for insisting on sending me to chinese primary school though i keep bragging about how i hated it... but now i know the reasons behind it. i am no more banana :P.

Yesterday, i almost died hit by a car.
I know, i still never pay attention when crossing road despite #%@#$ times ks reminded me that that was not a pedestrian crossing line.
Thank god, i am alive.
Though the embarrassment, i survived and that all it matters.

My exam is in less than a month.
Four papers, almost on every alternate days on average, so i ain't complainng.

10th June : Accounting Theory

14th June: Cost information for decision making

15th June: Macroeconomics Policy

17th June: Taxation Law and Practice.

I shall start revising now, but yet i have not feel the pressure. it never works untill the very last minute. always! for me, at least. gah..

SYDNEY DAY TWO

Okay, this is taking too long, i better post it up now or i'll take ages to do so!
Yay, no more assignments for the semester!
But nothing to be happy about! finals in less than a month! hence make no difference!

Right, that's not important.
Back to sydney day two. :p
Sean siew came all the way down to the city to join us for the day.
He's all good :) good catching up after all buddy :D

So, first thing first, Fish market to kick start the sunny friday morning . :p
They for sure have a huge selction of fresh seafood, cooked or raw! from calamari, to squid, oyster, prawns, basically everything you can get in the market, excpet this is fresh fresh fresh!

Apparently Sydney Fish maket is the world's second largest seafood market in terms of variety outside of Japan. Bet you didn't know!

Have i mentioned they serve the best salmon sashimi?
Cheap and Fresh.

But not the seafood plattter!
DO NOT , i repeat, DO NOT ORDER THIS. it cost us $60 and yet more than half of those are fries.
It's not worth the dollar!

After such heavy breakfast, we all took the bus down to the famous circular quay to enjoy some of the best scenery Sydney Harbour has to offer.
Along the walk, you'll find yourself amongst beautiful nature, where birds are flying searching for food , where the Opera House perched on the foreshore next to the Circular Quay and where the city of Sydney is built with the shiny-golden-Harbour-Bridge stretching across to the North side.

And yes, we can't help it but to take godknowshowmany pictures with every chances we get. hah!

But it started to drizzle halfway through the walk! annoyed annoyed. Hence, we stopped by Guylian for a cup of coffee and creamy-licious chocolate ice blended. That was all it takes to put the smile back on our faces, despite the gloomy day. :D

Moments of truth, we were actually comtemplating whether to visit the opera house , for all we cared for was the pancakes rather than the scenery ! LOL. But we still went for some picture snapping in the end.Just for a little while, we couldn't wait any longer as our stomach started growling.

And Pancakes on the Rocks did not let us down!
It is so awesomely delicious that we had to go back the next day for the same thing!
However, avoid ordering their bestsellers if possible, unless you have big group of people that you can order variety, other than that, don't . It tasted only so so, i mean is not bad, but not good good. I reckon pancake parlour serve better fluffier ones .

We actually got lucky as those crepes recommended by the waitress was really good. She must have a great sense of taste !

These are the Must Have !!

#1 The Ultimate

The rich flavourful taste of melted cream cheese blended in with sultanas, served together with raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream has made itself to the top must have list. It is the best answer to mum's cheesecake. So awesomely good.

#2 Chicken and Mushroom

Enhance yourself to the savory side, the second must have is the chicken and mushrrom crepe where creamylicious cooked chicken and mushroom folded into two crepe pockets, topped with a crunchy coating of cheese and served with sour cream. YUMS !

#3 The Mexicana

The title says it all. Classic mexican style beed served with tomato salsa, spicy tomato sauce, cheese, sour cream and guacamole on a bed of mixed lettuce.

However, if you like those thick and spongy pancakes smothered in sweet creamy chocolate syrup or dairy products, served with token of fruits, then you may try the famous Devil's Delight and Bananaruma

I love how the surroundings has a cozy cottage feel . so cute.

Other than food food and food, there's nothing like hopping on a ferry from the circular quay and travelling to Manly for the fantastic scenery of Sydney Harbour Bridge adn Sydney Opera House. Do make sure you arrive a little early at teh Cicular Quay to ensure a good position in the queue for the front seats. The voyage last approximately thrity minutes if i am not mistaken, but bare in mind it can get a little choppy as you approach the bay, hence for those who have sea sickness, be prepared to retreat inside.

The quiet seaside town of yesteryear has now transform into a vibrant village teeminf with shops , bars, cafes and restaurants.

It is quiet depressing how we were at the beach with the sky slightly turning dark, where no sun is shining on the surface of the sea reflecting blue from the above and a little bit red in the sun. But still there have a pockets of keen surfers who waited patiently to catch their first wave, arming themselves in a steady position to ride on, in such cold weather!

Nevertheless, Manly is as much about the journey as the destination. What better way to travel that seven miles across Sydney Harbour than by sea?

After so much of sight seeing,
we accidently hopped on a fast ferry back to cicular quay.
We thought it wil cost us double, but it turns out cheaper! what a relief. plus they were giving out free icecream, with royal wedding live on tv. :D
What's more? there's a bar at the back corner!
I guess we got lucky .

Dinner that night at this random japanese restaurant near our apartment was delicious enough to make you salivate, which also turns out to be one of the must-visit restaurant in SYDNEY! ah, nowonder!
How can someone resist the temptation of those luscious wagyu beef and tempura king prawn hand roll, completed with beautifully presented mellow greentea cheesecake.
The food were exceptionally good, the hot green tea too is brewed properly and not form one of those lipton tea bag, not to mentioned their excellent service, and now that explains the long long queue we had to bare.
It does get a little pricey, but it's all worth every penny !

It's the BUDDHA's birthday!
Hmm as far as i know, it falls on may 17th,
But here in melbourne, they believed today is the day instead, in fact there was this small celebration for it at federation square.
Just to pray and was pretty much crowded.
Even better, they welcomed it with lion dancing. which i had no idea why as i don't see the link. haha.
Maybe just to attract crowd?
That i am not sure.

Herald Sun May 10, 2011 3:41PM, MELBOURNE shivered its way through the coldest May morning in three years today - and tomorrow will be colder.

The Bureau of Meteorology recorded temperatures as low as -1C in some Melbourne suburbs
The dose of early winter weather saw the mercury in the city fall to 3.5C at 5.41am.
It isn't expected to rise past 15C for the rest of the day.
At Viewbank in Melbourne's north the temperature fell to -0.3C.
At 6am, the coldest suburbs were Viewbank, Essendon and Scoresby at -.03C, 1C and 1C respectively.
Around Victoria the temperature dropped below 0C, with Coldstream shivering through a frosty -1C Charlton dropped just below 0C at 4.30am, while Stawell hit -0.5C at 5am.
Frankston had the mildest morning with the mercury dropping to only 6C.

And it is not even WINTER yet !!!

And the first thing me and ks did was wtf. =.=

Alright, if that happen to me, i'll be sad too, since it's not cheap and those sentimental value.

And i got "attacked" so badly by low jia shen-the leader, lim khai shien- the convincer, and ching teck wei-the follower, for every freaking game!
Even with a three JUST SAY NO card in my hand, i still got deal break in the end and lost ! how can??
and man, that game is addictive !

Okay, game time is over.
Now i shall get back to work with two assignemnts that i have yet to hand in, and one more test to go. Then I am done for the semester.

SYDNEY DAY ONE

Have i mention how awesome were the food in sydney yet?
Gosh, i am still not over it !!
I love love Sydney, if only melbourne have all those food we've tried around here, then everything will be perfect ! also not to forget cheaper! weird huh. I mean Sydney is like the big city compared to melbourne, but yet how can the food be cheaper? hmm. But its good eh :)
Well, i'll defintiely go back there again, since flying with TIGER is so freaking cheap.
And we were lucky enough, our flight for both ways were not cancelled or delayed!!

Anyway, enough of those, back to day one :p , which was also ShuHua's birthday.
Like i say, the flight was on time, so we reach Sydney in the late morning, greeted by tiny biny bits of rain drops, yet still sunny . So all we needed was an umbrella <3
Cab-ed back to our apartment at Hype Park, somewhere near the museum train station, and yes it is in the city . wohooo. oH ya, we got conned by the taxi driver for the slightly more expensive fare he charged...but well, not like we have a choice.

Lunch:
We had quite some trouble looking for the famous ramen place js's bro recommeded
After walking back and forth along the China town, we finally found it.
It turns up to be a stall in the food court!! and all we had in mine were a restaurant with that name by itself. AHHH nowonder.. should have been told ! haha.

The pork ramen wasn't that amazing as what we expected it to be.
Yes, the soup was really thick and full of flavour and aroma of pork, but i reckon you'll get sick of it pretty fast, even before finishing half of the soup. too rich and creamy.
No harm trying though if you are a pork lover :)
Not to mention, you get to actually choose the thickness of the soup yourself, i think is best to take the medium want rather than the thick soup.

But the weather was abit depressing. rain and stop rain and stop.
Hence, headed off to the Sydney Aquirium instead.

Hmm. not much different form the melbourne one actually, except that they have dugong and octopus
But bare in mind, melbourne ones have more and cuter penguins!!! so yeap :) depends on which you like. you can always go to both :)
And little did i know, dugong is huge! and they eats veggieeeeeeeeessss..
One more question, how can people actually mistaken it for mermaid the last time . seriously. how??
I don't see any similarities.. AT ALL.. -.-

After touring th aquarium, it was raining cats and dogs
We settled ourselves down in the cafe inside, snacking some blueberry muffins :)
Dinner that night was such a dissapointment
We pop into this random korean restaurant that we passby along our way home
And regretted it :(
I mean it wasn't bad bad, but just wasn't good. nothing special at all. haix.

Walk around the complex a little since shop closes only at 9pm.
Then rested at the apartment and ended the day with chips and monopoly deal :)

And here's the apartment. pretty good actually. clean and big.
The kitchen utensils were all there too, pan , plates. kettles, pots... with a proper dining area.
But nah, who goes sydney to cook????

London, TWO women were killed by a bolt of lightning after the metal in one of their under-wired bras acted as a conductor, Sunee Whitworth (39) and her friend Anuban Bell (24) lay dead in the city's Hyde Park for more than 15 hours because passers-by thought they were vagrants or drug addicts and were too frightened to approach.

Scientists have also discovered a link between bra-wearing and breast cancer. A 1991 study of pre-menopausal women who never wore bras showed they had half the risk of breast cancer of those who did. Researchers found those who wore ill-fitting ones or who wore bras for unusually long periods were most at risk.

They concluded that a constriction of lymph nodes in the bra area caused a build-up of harmful toxins.
And it's not just women who are at risk. Another study revealed that a 27-year-old man had sustained a fracture and ligament damage when he twisted his left middle finger while trying to unclasp the bra strap of a female companion.

conclusion: cut of your breast, so you don't need to wear them. haha. and for men, practice practice practice , or stop being horny.

Cotton buds

Believe it or not, these innocent-looking, soft white swabbers are not designed to be used in the ear. Doing so merely pushes the wax further down the ear canal. And over-enthusiastic ear-cleaning can lead to a tear in the eardrum.
If you trip and bump your arm while swabbing your ear you can force the bud so far into the ear canal that it hits the small bones in the middle ear - leading to deafness.
As a result, twice as many people end up in hospital with cotton bud injuries than razor blade or electric razor injuries.

conclusion: talk and eat more, your ear canals can self-clean. chewing and talking massage the wax out of your ear. no?

Teddy bears

More people are killed annually by teddy bears than by real-life grizzly bears.
Small parts - buttons, eyes and bows - can cause young children to choke. Adults usually end up in hospital after tripping over cuddly toys.
Teddies can also spread infection. One study found that 90 per cent of soft toys in GPs' waiting rooms had moderate to heavy bacterial contamination - including lice and herpes.

Vegetables

Sometimes greens aren't good for you. Each year more than 11,000 Britons are injured by vegetables.
Most of the accidents happen while trying to cook them (boiling and frying can lead to burns), but some people deliberately use vegetables as weapons.

conclusion: don't use vending machine. even if you are really thirsty, bare with it, you won't die fot that few hours.

Leaves

The autumn explosion of red, orange and gold is one of nature's most dazzling displays. It is also one of her most hazardous. When leaves decompose, they emit chemicals which affect our lungs, immune system and eyesight. Fallen foliage in streams also fills the water with poison.
A study of rivers filled with leaves in Minnesota found levels of mercury and concentrations of methylmercury (the organic form of mercury) which were as high as those near industrial pollution sources.
Methylmercury gets into the human food supply when people eat tainted fish. It can lead to neurological deficiencies in children who have been exposed to it in the womb.

Alright peeps, i am back.!
Back from holiday, back from indulging good food, back from pigging out, back to where computer becomes my lover, books becomes my best friend and those god-damn-boring lectures and tutes.
I got to say i hate easter, BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE DUE RIGHT AFTER THAT.
Tests, major assignments, everything, one after another.
Come on, isn't this suppose to be like a stress-free holiday ?? :((
I couldn't utilise enough of my time for tax law & cost info , like how i initially planned!
i am screwed..

Masca took two days of my holidays, then sydney took 3 days rigth after.
And the two weekends left, i didn't do much of eveyrthing but just piggging out..
Oh wait, i was sick. thats why i felt like i didn't get to have a good rest. damn...

But at least i did had fun in SYDNEY.
Everything was awesome, except my the visit to manly beach which was a total waste of time, also my second visit to the Opera House bores me out.
But overall, it was awesome <3 I LOVE THE FOOD .
And the city is so much more bigger compared to here in Melbourne.
AH, i love it, i love cityyy.

Have you ever lost any of your valuable belongingS?
Well, I have. Just today. ANd it felt like shit.
To be honest, i was crying my heart out loud for the past few hours.
So bad that my both eyes were so red and sored. It hurts. :(
My birthday is not even here yet, and that was supposed to be my 21st birthday gift from mum.
It's not cheap at all. FML.

Just right a minute ago, daddy called...
And i was afraid to tell him when i first lose it. I was having this dilemma out of fear.
But then i still did. I told him what happened and
he laughed. at the same time, comforts me.. i was sobbing and crying . i swear i could barely talk.
I couldn't even stop. And i refuse to listen when he says it's okay. Because i feel really bad fro my careless mistake and kept on crying. And i told him mum would probably scold.
Then mummy took over, and comforted me too.
I was shocked when she says that's it's alrigth and will get me a new pair.

I was so flattered. so flattered. right then and there. i am touch.
I have the best parents ever.
And right after, baby sis called me, to tell me not to cry anymore,
and then dajie called, again to tell me not to cry, its just diamonds... so fuck it.

A good bright overhead lighting would be best!to decorate it, you can even get a chandelier! haha.

So yeap, i was pretty bored the other day hence i got Rachel to help me up on redecorating my room.
I just have to tell you this, she is darn good at this !
Now my room is all neatttt and more spacious than before. :)
She even insisted on reorganizing my stuff just so i can fill up those baggage space and empty boxes with unused clothes. huhu. smart. never thought of that!

1) I don't wear jeans in Malaysia. But yet i'll buy them. Weird.
2) I love paapaya so much that I used to eat one whole papaya everyday, by myself, to the extend that i
    turn orangey, and my white slippers turns orange because of my sweat. Thank god papaya here taste
    really bad. so i am all fine now :)
3) I am a shopaholic. Not those serious ones but i have a habit of buying things everywhere i
    go, is like a must, doesnt matter small or big, at least one thing!
    This is crazy. I love dresses, heels, rings, necklaces, gold, bags. EVERYTHING...
    It's like freaking dope! I can't seem to stop until recently when i found out i am a little out of control.

It's week six already! gosh, which means mid semester exam plus bull shit assignments.
On another note, daylight saving has ended!! yay, an hour extra for me to sleep in.
Also is only two hours time difference away from home!! wheee.
The weather here is getting colder day by day.
I just hate watching how the temperature drops till winter arrive.
I am not a cold-weather-person, i love sun and rather die hot anytime!

Should i go homee this winter agian? or just stick to my original plan of staying back.?

My First Treasure Hunt

Yes, treasure hunt baby.
I honestly did not know where i got my inspiration for.
BUt yeah, we did it. and by the end of the day, we won....NOTHING.. lols.
no regrets though. i would definately go for it again, it is quite fun, with the right companies :D

It's the enthusiasm i guess, that sparkles everything up.
i was pretty motivated at that point. must be funny, running without wearing a proper outfit.
Don't ask why. definately not my fault as i didn't know untill the very last minute, hence i was wearing a top with a skirt, and slippers. thank god i had my slippers on! hah.
Anyway, it was all good.

We started at 1230, which is an hour later from the stated time. well, should have known right?
It's a malaysian thing. i meant organised by the melb uni malaysian club.
I guess you get the picture by now.hah
Every team was assigned with a buddy.
And i must say, we were lucky enough, to get the smartest guy ever.
Yes the one who scored 99.5 for his SAM in taylors!!!
whoah....

TEAM 3: ME , LOONG, JIA SHEN, SHENG NEE AND RAYMOND.

Anyway, back to the first task, which was supposed to be the toughest among all.
But of course we cheated along the way
C'mon, tell me how is it even possible for us to sell those MOMO sushi voucher to anyone.
MOMO sushi? i've never even heard about it!
Also, the voucher looks super dodgy. just a piece of white printed or more like photostated paper.
PLus we are selling $10 worth of voucher for $10.
Seriously, i won't even buy it. cash is still safer anyhow, plus i'll get change if i buy anything less than that. they should at least increase the voucher value right?
And in the end, i even bought tat voucher myself because it is almost impossible to sell. not one but eight. so we called up our lovelies to help out buying the rest.
And i bet everyone does that.

Task two.
we were given this piece of paper, and written on it :

it's ?? CROWN. haha. gamble makes u happy and sad. so yeap.
The tram wasnt working well, so we had to walk to save some time. crap. so unfair that we actually had to walk from one end to another, as we all have different second task , and since we got the most TIME CONSUMING one, the rest must be pretty near.
UNFAIR.....

Reached crown in fourty five minutes roughly?? or half an hour? no idea haha.
Then we were asked to play some memory-matching-card-game to proceed for the next clue.

Third clue. Fill in the blank.
FUH. i got this right weih. haha.. Federation Square.
Task three:
The tricky part was that we had to get some caucasian to sing our national anthem.
And that's not it, we have to get that recorded. This is really Hard.
There were a few people who were fine with it, but once we told them it must be recorded, they refuse to help. SO this took us quite a while, untill sheng nee found this two angmos to help us out.
Also, we had to take some stupid ball and stick and freee with it for two minutes.
Pretty dumb i guess, i just don't get what's the point. haha

Task Four,
Travel all the way back to somewhere near Carlton garden
Then we were asked to snap some pictures they showed us on the card ( Mind you, we were only given "30 secs" to look at each pic okay. and then we were given only five minutes to snap around , if we got it wrong , penalty applies)

Task Five : Game or Drinks
We all chose to drink
Not as easy as it seems though, gulping those horrible vegemite-garlic-celery blended juice, makes me puke so hard!
Just kidding!! loong and jia shen help to drink mine and ray's portion. :D
according to them, it was HORRIBLE, too much vegemite, so it tasted like soy sauce, plus those chunks of garlic and celery wasn't blended smooth enough, so they actually had to chew it.
YUCKS.

after that, we had to all run back to the ending point.
And we lost. just one number away from getting the price. damn it.
BUt it was still a great experience after all!

gosh, i've been shopping too much. and you have no idea.
Yes i am confessing today because i feel so dissapointed in myself.
online shopping is a dead end. really. so don't start.
THIS HAS GOT TO STOP.
It's like a disease. an addiction. whatever you call it, it's getting uncontrollable. especially when you have nothing to do. like NOW.

30 days restricting myself to shop start from now.
I know it doesn't sound convincing at all, but mark my words nonetheless.
I believe i can do it. not for anyone else, but for myself.

And i have been missing home alot lately.

I think I should do a proper post for this :D

First, of course the admission price.
Adult ticket cost $33.50 . BUT we get the concession rate so yeah, it's down to $22.00.
The best thing is that it is open EVERYDAY from 9.30 am to 6pm, yes, including the public holidays,
However, i advise you guys should be there by 4pm, the latest,, as it took us the close to two hours to finish watching everything.
To be honest, it wasn't that great. In fact I was quite dissapointed.
There's nothing much, and the cutest thing that i could find there is the penguin LOL. that is the ONLY thing that caught much of my attention, other than that, nothing extraordinary i would say.
No dolphins, no octopus, and the shark wasn't that big. HAHA.

Anyway, if you love animals, please go.
I might be wrong about the whole thing, You might actually enjoy it yeah.
And GOSH, the penguins are so damn ADORABLE. I know, i've said it. But i just can't stop saying that! pENGUINS PENGUINS PENGUINS.

LOOK AT THIS PIC. aren't they cute??

And they actually have two types of penguins, the small breed ones ( I reckon is just like those we see in Philip Island) and the normal size ones. (this is so rare in Australia!! )
I love them much better because THEY JUST LOVE THE ATTENTION THEY ARE GETTING FROM US compared to the small ones which are too shy for anything.

It's funny how things seems to be perfect from the outside
But rotten from the inside.

It might look really reddd and delicious, but spoilt in the inside.

I thought of trying something new out of a sudden. instead of pictures. you know...anddddd

The whole editing took me two days. I know it wasn't that great, but come on my first attempt!
Also i wasn't familiar with all the video editing stuff.. so yeah.

So we still did went to Melbourne Aquarium despite sleeping late from the MA party last night , which turn out to be heck fun, got to know more people around and it's all good!

As i am typing here, the smell of death and corspe is lingering heavily in the thin air on the other side of the world.Yes, Tsunami stroked Japan again with 10 meters high waves. Again. Which makes me wonder what God has planned for us. Thousands and thousand of innocent lives are taken away.
Why does such tragedy happened? Is it because human kinds are now too cruel, too selfish, and take everything for granted? Is this a wake up call for everyone of us here? Or is this just a sign for the 2012? We will never know, and my doubtful thoughts can never be answer.

Then it strikes me.
When was the last time that I've actually stopped to thank someone for being there in my life?
When was the last time i stop nagging, comparing and complaining about how my life should be and felt really thankful and blessed with everything i have instead?
When was the last time i actually express and shower my love to those whom i care ? not just parents, and siblings, but grandparents? relatives? close friends? WHEN?
And when was the last time i actually felt thankful for all the wonderful things my body is doing for me? Like how my fingers move, how my heart pumps, how my eyes blink?WHEN?
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that we often take things for granted.

we are just greedy. We want more and more, despite knowing we are in a much better position compared to those less fortunates. And we were never thankful for what we have.

Most people know what needs to be accomplished for that particular day, but not having a care in the world. And most people take for granted that they will always be here in this world and today is just another day. But today, you have no idea how thankful i felt for still having this opportunity to be in this world as it can be taken away from you at any given time.

Death is depressing under any circumstances and Most of us do not think about leaving this world of ours. But it is not our choice to make. God planned it, and we'll never know when would our life be taken away. Could it be today? tomorrow? next week? in A year? 10 years? 20 years?
" Yesterday is the history, today is the present and tomorrow is a mystery. "
What would you do if you knew there was no tomorrow? How would you live your last day to the fullest in that present moment?
So think about it. And lets choose to live in that manner everyday, make the world be magnificent!
Live our life with joy , then happiness is what we will have in our life. Think positive, Love your love ones,be more appreciative and lets make everyday a fabulous day with no regrets.Never take life for granted.

Last but not least, I pray for those who lost their lives and sent my deepest condolences to the victim's family.
